Prescription Skin Products
The Obagi Nu-Derm system addresses the signs of skin ageing, its ingredients gently exfoliates to promote cell turnover and suppresses melanocyte activity to reduce pigmentation. This can be used in conjunction with a Tretinoin (retin A) which enhances cell turnover, stimulates collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and age spots.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion uses fine crystals to loosen debris then vacuum it away, this removes the build up of dead skin cells and other debris from the skin surface that causes it to look dull and rough. This results in softer, smoother skin as younger skin cells that lie underneath come to the surface, also leading to collagen production and plumper skin.
Microneedling
Microneedling uses small needles to cause tiny punctures in the skin. This encourages the body to create a wound healing response and renew the skin cells. As skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumping effect.
Needles can be varied in length depending on what depth of treatment is required and different devices used depending on the size of the area and intensity required. Ideal for intensive rejuvenation e.g. on smokers lines, general rejuvenation of the face or other skin damage such as scarring, acne scarring and stretch marks. Medical Microneedling is carried out by either our doctor or nurse.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Facial thread veins are the tiny vessels that are underneath our skin which can become damaged in extreme temperatures such as sitting in the sun or skiing. You may be more affected if you work outdoors a great deal e.g. builders or gardeners. Rosacea sufferers may also suffer from facial thread veins. These can be treated using IPL treatment usually requiring between 1 - 3 sessions a month apart.
Chemical Peels

Laser Hair Removal

Our high quality medical laser and IPL machines use selective photothermolysis to destroy the regenerative cells of the hair follicle. The light is absorbed by melanin by creating heat that travels down the follicle.
The laser sends a light into the skin which is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. This laser light pulses just long enough to disable the hair follicle’s ability to re-grow. A course of 6-8 treatments are usually required 4-6 weeks apart.
Suitable for both men and women on most areas of the body. Test patch and consultation free of charge. If your hair is white or very light blonde then laser and IPL treatments will not work due to the lack of pigment for the laser to target.
