Chemical Peels
About this treatment
Skin peels work by harnessing the power of naturally occurring fruit acids and enzymes to deeply exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal fresher, clearer, brighter skin. At our Sandon, we offer a variety of industry-leading chemical peels that effectively remove the top layer of dead skin cells and encourage skin to grow, revealing a softer, smoother complexion.

It's important to note that the specific benefits of a chemical peel will depend on the type and depth of the peel, as well as an individual's skin type and condition.
The procedure
- Before the peel, there will be a two week preparation depending on which peel you opt for. This will be discussed prior to treatment.
- The chemical peel solution is applied to your skin. The type and strength of the peel will determine the duration it remains on your skin. Superficial peels are left on for a shorter time, while deeper peels require more
- For some chemical peels, a neutralizing solution is used to stop the chemical reaction and remove the peel from your skin.
- After the peel is removed, the practitioner will provide post-peel care instructions. This may include applying a soothing moisturiser, sunscreen, and avoiding sun exposure for a specified period.
